Study: Koreans Have Smaller Faces than Westerners

A new study shows that Koreans have smaller faces on average than Western people.

A research team at Korea University Guro Hospital made the finding after measuring the size of the body parts of 690 people for three years starting in 2007.

According to the study, Korean women’s faces were an average two percent smaller than the faces of Western women.

Korean men’s faces were found to be about eight percent smaller than those of their Western counterparts.

Koreans were also found to have smaller hands, feet and calves than Westerners.

The team conducted the study at the request of the Korea Food and Drug Administration.
