S.Korea Finishes 18th in 2010 Paralympic Winter Games

The 2010 Paralympic Winter Games closed in Vancouver on Monday after a ten-day run.

Some 503 athletes from 44 nations competed in five different events including alpine skiing, ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling.

South Korea finished 18th in the overall medal tally after picking up a silver medal in the wheelchair curling event.

The nation was represented by a Korean record 24 athletes who competed for medals in all five events.
