Korean Lee Ho-suk Wins Short Track World Championship

Speed skater Lee Ho-suk has defended his title at the 2010 ISU Short Track World Championships.

Lee won both the 1,000-meter and 3,000-meter races, taking first place in the men’s overall classifications.

Lee, who was also on the Korean men’s team that finished first in the 5,000-meter relay, won a total of three golds and one silver at the championships.

Another South Korean skater, Kwak Yoon-gy, came in second overall followed by American J.R. Celski.

South Korean skater Park Seung-hi finished first overall on the women’s side, narrowly beating out China’s Wang Meng.
