The organizing committee of the 2011 World Championships in Athletics in Daegu has signed a marketing and sponsorship agreement with IB Sports in order to attract sponsors for the event.

The committee and the sports marketing firm plan to use the global sporting event as an opportunity to publicize achievements of the nation's green growth policy around the world.

The committee will unveil the official mascot and poster for the event on April 14th, which is 500 days ahead of the opening.
