The Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) will air a live broadcast of Korean female climber Oh Eun-sun's expedition to climb the 8,091-meter Annapurna peak in the Himalayas.

A 23-member media team comprised of reporters, producers and announcers will leave on March 26th for Kathmandu, Nepal, to join Oh.

The climber, who is currently preparing for her expedition there, will become the first woman to conquer the world's 14 highest peaks if she can successfully scale Annapurna.

The team will broadcast from base camp on April 18th and is planning to cover Oh's ascent to the summit live around April 24th to May second.
