Korea Advances to Wheelchair Curling Semis at Paralympics

South Korea has advanced to the wheelchair curling semifinals of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympics.

Team Korea now sits in third place, after Canada and the U.S., following its 9-2 victory over Germany on Friday, Korean time.

The curling medal events will be held on Monday.

Meanwhile, Korea’s Im Hak-su finished sixth out of 16 contestants with a time of 29 minutes and seven seconds in the men's ten-kilometer cross country skiing event for the visually impaired.
