The city of Incheon says construction on the main stadium for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games will begin in October this year.

The Incheon government said it would complete the construction by May 2014.

The main stadium with a maximum capacity of 70-thousand will be used for the opening and closing ceremonies and track and field events.
