A theme park vehicle powered by electric strips placed five centimeters below the ground was unveiled to the public at Seoul Grand Park on Tuesday.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology President Suh Nam-pyo were among the officials who gathered in front of the park on Tuesday to introduce the “online electric vehicles.”

The vehicles are regarded to be one type of next-generation electric cars since they are capable of operating without recharges or large batteries.
