South Korean figure skater Kim Yu-na will skate 23rd among the 30 female figure skaters who will compete in the ongoing Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Kim, the favorite to win gold, was drawn to skate third in the fifth group after Finland's Laura Lepisto and Japan's Mao Asada in the short program on Wednesday, Korean time.

Kim’s teammate, Kwak Min-jung, will skate fourth in the second group.

The free skating event is scheduled for Friday, Korean time.
