Short-track skater Lee Jung-su (left) has won his second gold medal of the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
The Dankook University student won the men's 1,000-meter event at Pacific Coliseum Saturday with a time of one minute 23.74 seconds. Lee won the gold in the 1,500 meters earlier in the tournament.
Teammate Lee Ho-suk (right) took the silver and Apolo Anton Ohno of the U.S. claimed the bronze.
In the women's 1,500-meter short-track event, South Korea's Lee Eun-byul won the silver medal and teammate Park Seung-hi the bronze. Lee clocked in with a time of two minutes 17.84 seconds for second place and Park's time was two minutes 17.92 seconds.
China's Zhou Yang won the gold with a time of two minutes 16.99 seconds.
Earlier, in men's speed skating, South Korea's Mo Tae-bum finished fifth in the 1,500 meters.
South Korea is in a four-way tie for third in terms of gold medals with four.
