Nation Tops OECD in Internet Penetration

A new survey finds that Korea ranks tops in terms of penetration rate for high-speed Internet among the 30 member states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

U.S. public radio broadcaster NPR said Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet & Society conducted the survey commissioned by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

However, Korea ranked third in Internet speed and 15th in cost for an overall ranking of fourth after Sweden, Denmark and Japan.
