The New York Times says no skater in decades has entered the Winter Olympics as such a strong favorite to win as South Korean figure skating star Kim Yu-na.

The newspaper ran an article Saturday introducing the details of Kim’s life, including her childhood, training, and her coach Brian Orser.

The paper said Kim, the reigning world champion, is expected to win the Vancouver Olympics’ women's figure skating competition, which begins February 23rd.
