Korea Gallup said Tuesday that three out of four Koreans are pretty much optimistic about South Korea's chance to become one of the 16 finalists during the 2002 Korea-Japan FIFA World Cup, which is only 9 days away. The poll, conducted between the period of April 23rd and May 2nd this year, says that of 1,512 respondents around age 20, 72.6 percent of them answered yes to the question of Korea's advance to round 16. As the most promising team to advance to the finals in Group D, they picked Portugal, along with South Korea.
