Ki Sung-yueng Shines in Celtic Debut

Ki Sung-yueng has shined in his Scottish Premier League debut for Celtic FC.

The team named the Korean "Man of the Match" despite a disappointing 1-1 home draw with Falkirk Saturday.

Ki just missed a goal in the second half as his powerful free kick was saved by Falkirk goalie Robert Olejnik.

Falkirk took the lead in the 19th minute thanks to Carl Finnigan's goal, but Celtic tied it in the 40th minute after Georgios Samaras scored.

The soccer site Soccer Lens says Celtic fans arrived in anticipation over the debut of the highly rated midfielder Ki, adding he had had a decent game overall in midfield showing great technique for Celtic.

Ki also plays for the Korean national team and has scored four goals in 18 international matches.
