S.Korea Wins Friendly in S.Africa

South Korea’s national soccer team has defeated the South African pro team Bay United by a score of 3-1 in a friendly.

The Korean team, led by coach Huh Jung-moo, traveled to the city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, for its third friendly match in the last week.

Although the South African team scored the first goal of the game, the Korean team stormed back behind two goals from Lee Dong-gook and another from Kim Bo-kyung.

The Korean team was clobbered by Zambia 4-2 on January tenth and tied the Platinum Stars of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League on Tuesday.

The team will leave for Malaga, Spain, for training on Friday.
