BOK to open window to help foreigners coming for World Cup

The Bank of Korea said Sunday that it will Tuesday open a foreigners-only window to help them purchase, sell or remit foreign currency during the World Cup soccer finals. The central bank will operate the foreigners-only window in its headquarters, downtown Seoul, until July 6th. Foreigners who visit the BOK's pros provincial branches will also be allowed to get access to the foreigners-only window which has BOK officials who can speak English, Chinese, Japanese, German and French through telephone calls. The BOK also opened the window in its English-version homepage at www.bok.or.kr.
