The Blackburn Rovers of the English Premier League are eyeing midfielder Koo Ja-cheol of the K-League's Jeju United.

The Daily Mail of the U.K. says Blackburn coach Sam Allardyce wants to offload players to clear room to sign Koo.

Goal.com also says Koo, 20, is tipped to be the next big star from Korea and won raves for his performance at the Under 20 FIFA World Cup last year.

Koo has played twice for the Korean national team, with Goal.com saying he could star at the South Africa World Cup in June.
