South Korean midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has signed a four-year contract with the Scottish football club, Celtic FC.

The Glasgow-based club announced on its Web site Monday that “South Korean internationalist, Ki Sung-yueng, has agreed [to] a contract for up to four years with the club and will join Celtic on January 1, 2010.”

Although no details were revealed on Ki’s contract, it is expected that Celtic FC will pay FC Seoul a transfer fee of approximately three-point-two million U.S. dollars.
