S.Korea Wins 4th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships

South Korea won the fourth World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, which was hosted by the World Taekwondo Federation.

This year’s event was held in Cairo, Egypt from November 30 until December 2.

South Korea came home with nine out of 16 gold medals along with a silver to clinch the top spot at the three-day championships.

Vietnam placed second with two gold medals, one silver and three bronzes.

Meanwhile, Iran, Spain and Germany nabbed one gold each, placing third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
