The chairman of the ruling Grand National Party will attend FIFA's Asia executive committee meeting Monday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Chung Mong-joon will attend the conference in his capacity as FIFA vice chairman and executive committee member and promote Korea's bid to host the 2022 World Cup soccer finals.

He is also considering attending the FIFA executive committee meeting in South Africa to open December 1st.

FIFA will release the final list of bidders for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups in December next year in its general assembly of 24 executive committee members.
