Korea's Sung Wins 2 Golds at Speed Skate Meet

Speed skater Sung Si-bak won two medals at the ISU World Cup Short Track qualifying competitions for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

In the men's 1000-meter final in Montreal, Canada, on Monday, Korea time, Sung finished first with a time of one minute 25.924 seconds. Lee Jung-su, also of South Korea, came in second.

In the men's 5000-meter relay that followed, Team Korea --- including Sung, Lee, Kim Seong-il and Kwak Yoon-gy --- narrowly beat out Canada to take first with a time of six minutes 53.899 seconds.

Korea won two golds during the tournament.
