South Korea has taken the top two spots in the men's 500 meter Division A race at the 2009-2010 Essent ISU (International Skating Union) Speed Skating World Cup, currently under way in Berlin, Germany.

Lee Kang-seok won the gold medal with a time of 34.80 seconds in the men's 500 meter event on Friday.

Lee Kyou-hyuk finished second at 35.02 seconds.

In the men's 1000 meters, Mun Joon finished third at one minute 9.43 seconds.
