The Kia Tigers have won their first Korean Series title in 12 years with a 6-5 win over the defending champions SK Wyverns in Game 7 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

Na Ji-wan's solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning gave Kia a dramatic win Saturday. He was also named Most Valuable Player of the series.

The Gwangju-based Tigers had the league's best record in the regular season at 81-48.

SK failed in its bid to win its third straight title.
