Soccer Team Beats Senegal 2-0

The national soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to 26 games with a 2-0 home victory over Senegal in a friendly at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday.

Ki Sueng-yong opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, taking a deep cross on the right side and blasting it in for a score. Oh Beom-seok added an insurance goal in the 80th minute to seal Korea’s win.

Coach Huh Jung-moo's squad has won 14, tied 12, and lost none over the past 20 months in A matches.

Korea will travel to Europe for another friendly against Denmark November 15th.
