Mount Seorak in Gangwon Province experienced its first freeze of the season early Monday.

The Korea Meteorological Administration says the season’s first freeze was seen at the mountain's Daecheong Peak, following strong overnight winds.

Seorak’s first freeze last year occurred twelve days earlier than this year.
