The national under-20 soccer team has kept its hopes alive of earning a ticket to the round of 16 at the FIFA World U20 Championships.

Korea lost its first Group C match with Cameroon 2-0 in Suez, Egypt, before tying Germany 1-1 in its second match.

In other Group C action, the United States beat Cameroon 4-1, but still trails Germany for the group lead. Cameroon is in third and South Korea is in fourth.

If Korea wins its last group match against the U.S., there’s a chance it could advance to the round of 16.
