Golfer Shin Jiyai won her third LPGA event of the year at the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship on Sunday after a three-way playoff.

On the tournament’s last day in Rogers, Arkansas, Shin defeated Yoo Sun-young and Angela Stanford on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff to capture her third victory of 2009 and the sixth of her young career. The 21-year-old shot a tournament-low seven-under-par 64.

Shin earned 270-thousand dollars for the win and sits atop the money-leader board with nearly one-point-five million dollars.

Shin’s win is South Korea’s seventh LPGA title this season and the nation’s 81st overall.
