South Korean archers have swept gold medals at the World Archery Championships in the southern coastal city of Ulsan.

On the last day of the competition, Lee Chang-hwan won a gold medal, beating his teammate Im Dong-hyun 113-108 in the men’s recurve individual final.

In the women’s final, Joo Hyun-jung beat Kwak Yeji 113-112.

On Tuesday, the national men’s and women’s teams won the group recurve finals.

It is the third time the national team swept the top recurve title after winning in 1997 and 2005.
