Korean archers Oh Jin-hyuk and Lim Dong-hyun set world records at the 45th World Archery Championships on Friday.

On the fourth day of the archery competition in Ulsan, Oh and Lim scored 342 points and 338 points, respectively, taking the top spots in the preliminary round of the men's individual recurve event.

The scores bested the previous record of 337 points set in 2003.

Korea's team aims to win golds in both the individual and team events.
