Seoul to Host 4 Major Sporting Events in 2nd Half

Seoul is scheduled to hold four major sporting events in the second half of the year.

From Tuesday until Sunday, a baseball championship tournament for Asian youths will be held in Mokdong, Seoul. Players from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand and Sri Lanka will take part in the event.

Next week, the Shilla Hotel will host a forum of the world’s taekwondo elite from Tuesday through Thursday. Some 300 people are expected to attend the forum, including the heads of taekwondo associations from 50 countries.

From September 24th through 27th, the ISU World Cup Short Track will take place at the Mokdong Ice Rink, with 260 skaters from 30 countries expected to participate.

In November, Seoul will host the JoongAng Seoul Marathon.
