Weather Unlikely to Affect Naro Launch

The national weather agency says the weather is not expected to interfere with the launch of the nation’s first space rocket on Tuesday afternoon.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast Monday that skies will be cloudy and there will be relatively light wind in Goheung, South Jeolla Province on Tuesday afternoon. The rocket launch is scheduled for around five p.m. at the Naro Space Center in Goheung.

Last Wednesday, the launch was postponed less than eight minutes prior to the scheduled blastoff due to a software glitch.
