A rehearsal for the Wednesday launch of the nation's first space rocket is under way at the Naro Space Center.

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) said Tuesday that all related staff will be mobilized to review each step of the launch.

As part of the rehearsal, simulation drills are carried out for each process of the launch, including the fueling stage.

The rocket, named Naro, was installed on its launch pad Monday and is scheduled to blast off Wednesday afternoon at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province.
