Air Force Wins Award at Air Mobility Rodeo

The Air Force has received an award of Best International Team at the Air Mobility Rodeo 2009 at McChord Air Force Base in the U.S. state of Washington.

Transport planes and oil feeders last week competed in operational skills in the premier mobility competition hosted by the U.S. Air Force and Air Mobility Command.

The air forces of eight nations including Korea, the U.S., Turkey and Israel took part this year and those of 17 other countries including Britain and Greece observed.

Korea posted its best performance in five appearances at the event since 1994. Among 30 events in six fields, Korea took part in 18 events in five areas to post the second-highest score after the U.S.
