Domestic health authorities have confirmed 25 new cases of the Influenza A virus subtype H1N1.

The new confirmations have brought the country's number of H1N1 flu cases to 813.

Authorities said Sunday that an elementary school student in the western Seoul suburb of Bucheon is among the new cases.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said no serious cases of the flu have been reported in the nation yet, but that the number of patients is rising fast with the virus spreading onto the provinces.

Health authorities said they are working on countering the flu next week, citing no big significance in calculating the exact number of patients with the virus.
