S. Korea Wins Three Golds at Belgrade Universiade

South Korean taekwondo competitors have won three gold medals at the Summer Universiade 2009, which is under way in Belgrade, Serbia.

Lee Ki-sung won a gold medal in a men's individual competition before winning another in the men's team event with Lee Sang-mok and Ji Ho-yong.

South Korean female taekwondo athletes also won a gold medal in the team match.

The national women's soccer team soundly defeated their South African opponents 12-0 to advance to the quarter finals.

The national men's soccer team beat Uruguay 3-0 in a penalty shootout after the game ended in a tie.
