South and North Korea have both qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

North Korea sealed its spot in the tournament following a scoreless draw against Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on Wednesday.

It marks the first time in 44 years for the North to qualify for the World Cup and the first time ever for both Koreas to qualify.

North Korea finished second in Group B with 12 points behind South Korea, which finished with 16 points.
