The Sankei Shimbun said Monday Japan is expected to allow Koreans to enter the country without visas for 30 days during the FIFA World Cup. The daily said that the visa waiver will take effect a few days before the May 31 kick-off date and continue for several days after the June 30 final match in Yokohama. Koreans entering the country will be allowed to stay inside Japan for up to 30 days, regardless of whether they attend soccer matches held in Japan.
