South Korea has finished in second place at the World Mixed Team Badminton Championships held in Guangzhou, China.

Korea, who was aiming for its first title in the last six years, lost to China 3-0 in Sunday’s finals.

In the mixed doubles, Lee Yong-dae and Lee Hyo-jeong were taken out by the Chinese team 2-1.

China also eliminated Korea’s Park Seong-hwan in the men's singles and Jeong Jae-seong and Lee Yong-dae in the men's doubles.
