Medical Team to Care for Koreans in Mexico

A medical team will fly to Mexico to look after ethnic Korean residents there amid the scare over type-A influenza.

The Health, Welfare and Family Affairs Ministry will dispatch one doctor and nurse to Mexico for two weeks until May 17th to examine and treat ethnic Korean residents living there.

The team will also deliver two-thousand doses of the anti-influenza drug Tamiflu, medicine for respiratory diseases, and 10-thousand masks.
