Officials at KOWOC and the Korea National Tourism Organization (KNTO) said Tuesday that Government agencies and the Korean organizing committee for the World Cup (KOWOC) are making a determined pitch to invite Chinese visitors to attend this year's premiere soccer extravaganza. A delegation of tourism experts have been in China since February 25 to promote tours related to the World Cup, enhance cooperation and contact between travel agencies and regional governments and host media events. The team of experts visited Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai and will visit Guangzhou before returning to Korea Thursday.
