The organizing committee of the 2011 World Championships in Athletics in Daegu and national public broadcaster KBS signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday.

According to the agreement, KBS will be given the sole broadcast rights to the 2011 world championships of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

KBS will offer the games in high-definition.

In August, KBS will rebroadcast the upcoming World Championships in Athletics in Berlin.
