Skating sensation Kim Yu-na capped her championship performance over the weekend with an enchanting display at the World Figure Skating Championship’s gala show on Sunday.

Kim, who became the first female skater to surpass the 200-point barrier on her way to taking the world title on Saturday, appeared as the 23rd skater in the gala held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kim is scheduled to return home on Tuesday and plans to take some time off to recharge.

At the end of April, Kim will take part in an ice show as a way of expressing her gratitude for her fans. Then in May, she will leave for Toronto to train for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
