Korea Dominates Men's World Short Track Event

South Korea’s Lee Ho-suk has turned in a dominating performance in the men’s individual events at the Short Track Speed Skating World Championships in Vienna, Austria.

Lee beat out Apolo Anton Ohno of the U.S. for the gold medal in the men’s one-thousand-meter event on Sunday, with a time of one minute 33-point-zero-six-zero seconds.

Lee also won the silver in the men’s three-thousand-meter super final event. Lee has garnered a total of two golds and one silver during the men’s individual events.

As for the women, South Korea’s Kim Min-jung ended up ranking second overall by winning the gold in the 15-hundred-meter event and silvers in both the one-thousand-meter event and three-thousand-meter super final event.
