Spring Flowers to Come Early

The nation will see an early bloom of forsythias and azaleas this spring.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that forsythias and azaleas will begin blooming in Jeju Island around the middle of next month.

Seoul residents will be able to see the flowering shrubs bloom ten days later, which will be two weeks earlier than usual.

The weather forecaster attributed the early blossoming to recent mild weather, predicting that the average temperatures this March will be higher than usual.
