S. Korea, Iran Play to 1-1 Draw in World Cup Qualifier

South Korea played Iran to a 1-1 draw Wednesday in their World Cup qualifying match.

Iran scored the first goal of the match with a free kick in the 60th minute.

South Korea fought back, with striker Park Ji-sung of Manchester United netting a goal in the 35th minute late in the second half.

With two wins and two draws, South Korea remains atop Group B with a total of eight points --- one ahead of North Korea, who recently beat Saudi Arabia 1-0.

Australia and Japan played to a scoreless draw, giving the Aussies the Group A lead with ten points.
