Korean golfer Choi Kyoung-ju stands in second place Friday after the first round of a PGA season-ending tournament hosted by Tiger Woods.

At the PGA Chevron World Challenge, held at Thousand Oaks in California, Choi and Boo Weekley together ended two shots behind leader Jim Furyk, who ended with a four-under-par 68.

Only 16 players are invited to participate in the five-point-eight million dollar competition that benefits Tiger Wood's foundation.
