Temperatures are expected to drop sharply Thursday evening.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said Seoul and central Gyeonggi Province will see strong winds and rain throughout Thursday with the mercury expected to slide to below ten degrees Celsius over the weekend.

The weather agency added that Saturday morning will see freezing weather that will last until Sunday.

The agency also said light rain or snow of three to five centimeters is also expected across the nation over the weekend.
