S. Korea Beats Saudi Arabia 2-0

South Korea beat Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the 2010 World Cup final qualifying match held on Wednesday, moving one step closer to making a seventh straight appearance in the World Cup.

Wednesday’s victory marked the first time South Korea has beaten Saudi Arabia in the World Cup preliminaries.

Lee Keun-ho scored the first goal of the match in the 77th minute, with the second coming from striker Park Chu-young.

South Korea continues to lead Group B with seven points from two wins and a draw, followed by Iran.
