Most areas across the nation, including capital Seoul, recorded below zero temperatures Tuesday morning.

The morning low in Seoul dropped to minus five-point-two degrees Celsius. Afternoon highs ranged from one to eleven across the nation, about six to seven degrees lower than Monday.

The Korea Meteorological Administration says it will be even colder Wednesday morning with temperatures returning to normal on Friday.
