The 20th anniversary of the Seoul Paralympic Games was marked with a ceremony on Wednesday.

At the event, the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled revisited the spirit of the 1988 games and presented pension certificates to 17 medalists of the Beijing Paralympics.

A symposium was held afterwards on the development of sports for the disabled.

A photo exhibit will also continue through next Wednesday at the Rodin Gallery located in downtown Seoul. The photos in the exhibition of the Beijing Paralympic athletes were taken by photographer Jo Se-hyeon.
